To be released in the summer of 2008, this new beginning to the KH series, directed by Tetsuya Nomura/Tai Yasue, will propose 3 new characters with different scenarios, new enemies and worlds.
The combat system is a mixture of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories with its chart system, and the traditional controls of Kingdom Hearts.

Crisis Core is also for PSP.
I thought I was going to have to buy a DS.
We still dunno about the odd naming for the DS game though...
I dunno what the 'chart' system was for the Chain of Memories game, but I know the game itself was card based? But this looks more action based (as the screens, and article suggest)...perhaps 'cards' are how you power up? Like, skills and stuff? And that the actual attack are initiated much like on the PS2 games?
Thats my guess...
You had a deck, with Summons, Normal Attacks, and the works...what irritated me is that the Keyblade attacks had numbers that kept deteriorating the more you used them, and you had to use every single card in the deck to reshuffle.
For example: Keyblade Attack Card 9, you can use that against any monster who's attack power is 8 and below, but can only use it once...the more you use the Keyblade attack, the less powerful they get (8, 7, 6, 5, etc)...till it comes to a point where almost any monster could block your keyblade attack (3, 2, etc).
Very hard to explain, but yeah, if there's anything like that on this one, heads will roll...

Can't wait for this =D
