New Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII summons and characters revealed !

Final Fantasy fans have been on their toes lately, hoping for any scrap of new information regarding Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Well this week's Shonen Jump magazine has granted their wishes, revealing both new summons from FFXIII (including old favorites Ifrit, Siren and Carbuncle) and new characters from Versus.

This week's Shonen Jump Magazine features some rather exciting images. These images show off several of the new characters in Final Fantasy Versus XIII, as well as the new summons in Final Fantasy XIII such as Carbuncle and Ifrit.

    As the first new FF on a relatively young console, I'm still gonna prepare myself for the worst; i.e. FFXIII is all flash and only mildly fun. I'm really looking forward to seeing the summons in video though!

      You're right about that, Wolfwood. All they have shown us thus far is some AC-like action and such, hopefully they'll get to some real gameplay and other details later this year. Still got time before it's release.

        Erm, have you seen the recent trailers? They have some in-game action there and it is still the same graphical quality as those shots.

          Yeah but it's nothing that I expected. I want a good...5 minutes spent on gameplay alone to get a gist of how it'll be.

    hey... in the lower right pic (Versus XIII), one of the guys looks alot like Angeal (Crisis Core) and behind him, it looks kinda like a young Cloud...
    cant wait till we get some new footage of the games!
