Japanese gaming site Famitsu have posted new screenshots from the arcade version of Street Fighter IV. The images, captured from the playable demo at the AOU 2008 Amusement Expo, show off the game's unique graphical style and reveal some of the fighters that will be made available for play in the final version set to be released later this year.

Among returning favourites such as Ryu, Ken and Chun-Li is a new female challenger called Crimson Viper. Concept artwork and gameplay stills of her are available at the end of the article.

Damn that is fantastic artwork...but I still dislike how Ryu and Ken look. Good to see Blanka back, that's all who a friend of mine ever plays, haha.

Yeah, Ryu and Ken looked best on Alpha. Blanka looks mad cool. I hope this game comes out this year.

Hohoho, Blanka looks so awesome. I'm fine with the way everyone looks but Chun Li. She seems more...muscular?

True. Ikeno said that he'll portray her as she should be, with huge thighs apparently, because of her kicking strength. It's like Balrog (US), who's got the strong upper body because he's a boxer.

I don't like Chun-Li's look to be honest.

    The others look great though.

I agree with you, she doesn't look right.
