For those of you who dont remember it, Jagged Alliance 3D was a very fun, isometric game where you controlled a squad of mercenaries on various ops. And, I do mean control the squad: You hired them, purchased equipment, outfitted them, etc. Well after some licensing shenanigans, Russian developer GFI was able to work on a spiritual sequel to the classic game titled Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge. No word yet on a North American release save to say it it is in the works. Two additional screenshots at source due to GameGrep upload limit.
The spiritual successor to Jagged Alliance 3d, Hired Guns: The Jagged Edge has been developed by GFI, a Russian developer and is still waiting for a North American release. In the meantime, they have sent out more screenshots for us to check out. You can find the official website here. Image Gallery After the Break.

I also like European games often (Russian included) because they have generally lower hardware requirements and are often a little bit more innovative (if I was to make a very generalized statement.)
That is a very generalized statement by the way. Surely its down to the company, not the location...
Perhaps ignore me though. I'm just blabbing without really looking into it.
