The new Sonic game, called "Sonic Unleashed", has some new screenshots out now, and they're looking pretty good. It seems to have some nice graphics. The game is going to be on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii.

Sega has "unleashed" a handful of new screenshots of its upcoming Sonic instalment, Sonic Unleashed - and worryingly it's still looking quite good.

The new game, which will be on Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3, takes a long-awaited refocus on platforming (the crazy wolf stuff aside). Reassuringly, the game's lead designer Yoshihisa Hashimoto has even cut ties with the last awful 360/PS3 Sonic game, stating that Unleashed has "no relation" to it.

For the 360 and PS3 too? I don't expect these versions to sell more copies than the Wii version as this is more of a kid friendly game. Other than that, graphics look pretty great but there's a feeling in my gut that the gameplay will ruin it for gamers.

I think you mean old school gamer game but you are right the Wii has a large audience in the game's class, not to mention die hard Sonic fans who get Brawl.

Looks like a mix between old-school Sonic and SA2B. I'm actually getting excited about a Sonic game for once..

I'll stick with Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast. That's the only 3D Sonic game they did right.

I've never really liked Sonic games when I've seen them. Hopefully this one will up the standards of them.
