Couple of screenshots of the next game in Rare's Banjo series have leaked to the Internet. They certainly seem to be legitimate, wouldn't you say? Rumours are saying the game will be compatible with the possible Microsoft Wiimote-ish device. More media should arrive this Tuesday in light of Microsoft's Spring Showcase event.

Representing the first media of the game to arrive since its 2006 announcement trailer, the images provide an in-game glimpse of the first Banjo effort to hit a home console since the Nintendo 64 release of Banjo Tooie in 2000.

Looks incredible visually, but I'll have to see how the gameplay is since it's been years since a Banjo game.

Like everyone said, looks gorgeous. I'm not too worried about the gameplay. Rare has been rather shaky lately, but they haven't lost it. I'm sure they can pull it off. It's been so many years, so it seems like they are giving this game the time it deserves.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the game. The earlier games were excellent, I hope this lives up.

After the bastardization that Perfect Dark Zero was though, I'm not too sure of your trust of Rare. Half of the original Rare team is gone you know when they merged with MS.

Looks amazing. I can't wait until this comes out. I loved the Banjo games on the N64, and looks like I'll love this one too.

Those can't be real they just can't! This isn't going to be another Banjo-Pilot game and it can't be a Banjo-Waterski game either.

They seem legitimate, yes, but is the part about this being compatibel with the Microsoft "Wiimote-ish device" legitimate? Microsoft haven't given any comments on that, have they?
