Electronic Theatre Preview: Street Fighter IV
"Street Fighter IV is a game that’s been on the radar for quite some time now. The original teaser trailer spread throughout the internet like wildfire, once unveiled the game featured predominantly at all manner of trade shows and an extensive amount of press coverage was granted for the original Arcade version pre-release. And since launch, the reviews have been almost unanimously complimentary.

The Best Cosplay of TGS 2008!
"Sure, TGS had plenty of great games to play, booth babes to admire, and bland corndogs to gnosh, but what we enjoyed most was checking out the latest in cosplay fashion. Cosplay, or costume play, recently became a popular form of expression for Japanese teens and young adults. They dress as their favorite pop culture characters, often from anime or videogames, and parade for photographers and fellow cosplayers. At TGS, cosplayers focused on the gaming avatars--from Cloud to Snake, Shiren the ..."

RPG fans everywhere celebrate, trailers from Square Enix's closed mega theater leaked
Yes the impossible has happened, someone has actually managed to sneak a video out of the Square Enix closed Mega Theater and live to tell the tale. The bootlegger caught footage of Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, The 3rd Birthday and even a bit of Dissidia on tape, so sit down and have a watch if you have even a passing interest in any of these titles. Download them if you want to keep them, Square Enix will likely go on a crusade to make sure the public continues...

The mystery of the 11 unannounced PS3 titles is solved!
Remember how Sony promised 11 unannounced PS3 titles to feature at TGS? The same titles which have been strangely absent despite one or two here and there? Well the full list of titles has finally been revealed. And it turns out we've all been tricked, or rather tricked ourselves. You see Sony said they were unannounced titles, but never that they were new titles. These games had yet to be announced to appear at TGS, so there never really any new games to begin with, the large majority of th...

Playing Motorstorm with a Mini-Motorbike Motion Controller
"This isn't a product, but rather a concept product. Spotted a mini-motorcycle that had been modded with an embedded PS3 SIXAXIS controller. The guy on the motorbike said the original plan was to have the game projected lower so players weren't looking up at the wall, but it wasn't possible to work that out logistically, apparently. Fittingly, the PS3 was running MotorStorm, and playing it on a mini-bike did give the title an nostalgically arcadey feel. The only downside was that the handle wa..."

Japan loves Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
One of the surprise hits at the Tokyo Game Show was Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts. Yes, a non-RPG Xbox 360 game literally stopped crowds. Every time a Nuts and Bolts video was shown, hundreds of people would stop what they were doing and watch it (as shown in the above picture). Take notes, Microsoft.

Top Eight Booth Babes! Companies get Rated!
Chris Morell of Gamepro has made his top list for the booth babes at the Tokyo Game Show 2008! Does he have too much time or is he just giving us what we want?
Capcom won, congratulations. EA and Sony found themselves at the bottom, while names such as Tecmo and D3 also rated high.
Tecmo is my favourite, what about you?

Home Goes Up Against The New XBOX Experience... Releases Date Revealed
With so much information having come out of TGS 2008, it's not a wonder as to why this was missed... According to some websites, it seems that Sony announced the release date of the much-awaited and much-delayed Playstation Home to be November 19th 2008. With only two websites running this story at the moment, it seems to be more like a rumour, but there may very well be some truth behind this...

Final Fantasy XIII TGS Live Premiere...was a disapointment
It has been fair to say that TGS hasn't been on all that great in terms of content. Hell even E3 which was average for the most part, has seemed to top this much hyped videogame show. Many hopes were pinned on the Final Fantasy XIII Live Premiere Event which occurred today on October 12th, but word is coming in this too was a disappointment. The event featured some trailers without voices, and then some music to be present in the game, along with an interview with Masashi Hamauzu on how to co...

Tecmo introduces post-Itagaki Team Ninja, also working on "A shitload of projects"
It's no secret that Tecmo has been rather busy lately, what with Itagaki leaving and suing the company, then half of Team Ninja doing the same, so it was probably no surprise that Tecmo wouldn't have much to reveal at the Tokyo Game Show. (And Fatal Frame fans have nearly given up hope that any new FFIV info will be announced, what with the recent confusion over who the publishers are).
So instead, the company revealed two things:
1. The new faces of Team Ninja, and
2. That they are wor...

[TGS08] Final Fantasy Agito XIII: First trailer - CG and Gameplay Footage !
Final Fantasy Agito XIII is by far the lesser known title amongst the Fabula Nova Crystallis collection, but hopefully not for much longer. Now confirmed as a PSP exclusive game, this game can only be described as Square Enix's take on the Monster Hunter franchise as the title will boast many MMORPG features off the bat.
