Videogamer.com has the list of the ten worst PS3 ports ever, and why they don't like the games. The games were probably good on the other consoles, but just didn't live up to video gaming standards on the PS3 versions.

Here is the list of games.

10. F.E.A.R.
9. Splinter Cell - Double Agent
8. Sonic the Hedgehog
7. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
6. Madden 08
5. Quake Wars
4. Tony Hawk's Project 8
3. Orange Box
2. Lost Planet
1. PES 2008

The PS3 got off to a pretty bad start, but these days developers are pumping out better games, whether they're exclusive or multi-platform. In the hope that we're nearing the end sloppy PS3 ports of Xbox 360 games we've put together our Top 10: Worst PS3 Ports. Which games hit the PlayStation 3 in far worse shape than they were in on the Xbox 360? Which ports really shouldn't have made it out of the QA department? Read on to find out.

10. F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. was ported from the PC to the Xbox 360 fairly successfully, but something went very wrong with the PS3 game. Released after the Xbox 360 game, F.E.A.R. on PS3 suffered from a poorer frame rate and appeared to have had Vaseline smeared over the screen. For whatever reason this relatively old PC game didn't run at all well on Sony's latest console, which had a negative impact on the game's action packed gameplay. For a game that's all about carnage, a sluggish frame rate ruined things somewhat.

9. Splinter Cell - Double Agent

While we admit that we might have slightly over-rated Sam Fisher's next-gen debut, it is still an excellent game that tries to do some new things with mixed success. Sadly PS3 gamers didn't get the same great game that Xbox 360 owners were playing months earlier. The PS3 game chugs frequently and seems to be missing much of the subtle lighting that impressed so much last year. What's more, numerous sound effect glitches crop up throughout and cutscenes fail to run smoothly. It all felt rather sloppy and lessened the experience substantially.

I'm sorry, PS3 owners, that you missed out on the glory of the Orange Box. All gamers should be able to enjoy Half-Life 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. They're all amazing games.

You're a very concerned person...it REALLY shows. Let me ease your burden, The Orange Box WAS released on the PS3...so everyone got a good piece of it...feeling better now?

I take it you don't own it and you're not one of the many that feels that EA would have been better off never attempting to port the game to the PS3 because it's terrible and they've done zip to address it properly.

That is unless somehow you're like the 1 user on the planet who got a fully stutter free version of the game with no issues at all.

Actually I DO own it, and yeah I'm aware of the issues. What you're probably not aware of (or believed any overdramaticized whining) is that it's not an abomination of a game...yes the framerate/loading is a bit of a problem, but no it isn't close to even being THAT bad. The worst they probably did had something to do with Team Fortress 2 but I never really did encounter much problems when I went online anyways.

It obviously was inferior, everyone already knows that. The problem is how bad people are making it sound.

Like Seeker, I've had little-to-no problems with my Orange Box apart from the long loading times. Even with TF2.

It's not as bad as most people are making it out to be.

This new information from pwned227 renders this list irrelevant. Rejoyce.

Wow, did you come up with that by yourself?

Really, how about an argument that hasn't been tossed out the window yet.
