Here's an article on the weirdest ways you can die in video games. Covers games from 1986 to present. Give it a read, it's pretty funny - particularly no.6, Leisure Suit Larry.

No.6 - Leisure Suit Larry
Death by STD

What Leisure Suit Larry has just done is have sex with a prostitute without using a condom. His punishment is an unnamed STD that makes his crotch flash bright colours. As the text on the screen happily informs you: "It appears the hooker gave you a little more than you bargained for!".

Larry dies about five seconds later.

    Death by STD. That is really the only one that I thought was amusing. I have played most of these games though, so none of this was really new to me.

    TBH, while some 'stupid' deaths are funny, they can be annoying because they're so illogical. Take the first one on the list. A rock should NOT be able to kill someone via tripping, it is just irrational >_>

    Meh, gaming isn't about rational stuff though, just about fun

    EA seems to like cruel/strange deaths though >_>

      EA Seems to like giving deths year.

      Like in The Sims you die if you watch to much telly. (Your other meters go down and you die)

      Not that I have played many EA games.

    Yeah Leisure Suit Larry should've made > number 6 on hilarity-scale. I guess since the criteria is 'Weirdest' not 'funniest', then the bizarre one at #1 is rightly there.

    Killing a person with a purple dildo is indeed quite weird.

    I was surprised Death By No Way Out of The Pool for the Sims wasn't there!

    Also Skate Or Die was kind of messed up.
