For the second week in a row, Call of Duty 4 sat at the top of the heap of the most-played Xbox 360 games. The usual suspects -- Halo 3 and GTA IV -- were close behind, but a new entrant made a strong debut. The demo for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed made a solid showing, coming in at No. 4 on the list.

Meanwhile, the desire to get virtually rich quick trumped the joy of old-school (albeit lovingly revamped) platforming last week. The Fable II Pub Games topped the list of the most purchsed Xbox Live Arcade games, which probably says as much about the pre-orders for Fable II as it does for the XBL community's penchant for gambling, seeing as the pub games didn't make the most-played list last week. The two-year-old Marble Blast Ultra mysteriously creeped into the top ten, too.

The Top Live Titles list, as reported by Major Nelson, ranks unique users playing Xbox 360 games while connected to Live. The Top Arcade Titles list is based on the number of full versions sold in a given week.
