109.com has prepared a list of the 10 worst sci-fi video games that people play, and they do look pretty terrible. There are videos of the games at the source if you want to see them in action.
Here is the list:

10) Nortal Combat
9) First-Person Shooter
8) Bodysurfing For Algernon
7) Whatever the hell game Sheppard is playing
6) Wizards And Warlocks
5) The Scooby Game
4) Sumo Slammers
3) Global Domination game
2) Bishop Of Battle
1) Suckdisk
Science fiction is all about advancing into a shinier future — so why are people always playing such crufty video games in scifi shows and movies? In the distant future, will we really be stuck playing bad 8-bit knockoffs, or trying to get a frisbee into a tentacle mouth over and over? Here's our list of the most embarrassing games people in scifi play.

I always though ET was fairly bad, but I guess that's not science fiction. Like Zero said, never heard of them, except perhaps the Scooby Game, assuming it's the legendary Scooby Doo.

The names are lame and ripoffs to start. Why would anyone even play them?

Doubt my PS3 could handle the memory requirements of that page, but I wonder, how many of these games are REAL games?

Lots of shows/movies make short rendered clips to use in their own made up video game, and yes, they usually look like utter crap....

Reminds me of the Doom movie, that was how many years in the future, with planetary teleporters an all that, but the guy was playing on a portable video game device bigger than a GBA I think?

ITT: People don't read the article and assume they're real games.
