I only read two of the games on the list there (Gunstar Heroes and Sonic 3) and I can say with confidence, this is the single worst top 10 list I've came across.

That's not a valid reason to exclude it, IMO.

wow this instills me with more and more confidence that "anyone" can become a critic and reviewer...whoever writes for old-wizard is a douche. Most of them games are Sega Megadrive(genesis) and filled my childhood with many hours of joy and laughter...earthworm jim, sonic and prince of persia, as well as a few others on that list.

Sounds to me that whoever compiled the list isn't hating on the gameplay or the game itself but the graphics. This is evident within the gripe of Pokemon, simply because he/she states that in the first sentence it is the most overrated game merely because of the months and years of "poke-mania" we had to endure.

That's the same as throwing FF7 up there because of all the fanboys jacking off over Cloud's huge sword or Sephiroth for that matter, which yes a few years ago FF7 would have been my most overrated game, yet I have mellowed and come to terms with it that it is actually a good game for the year it was produced in.

(and hating on retro/old games for their clunky controls is hardly a valid excuse to call them overrated. The gaming industry was only just getting on it's feet back then, of course old games won't have perfect controls)
