The 10 Worst Enemies In Gaming History

One game alone has created some of the most horrible games in history. That game is Super Mario Bros. Some of the most disgusting and deformed creatures ever invented trump through this game, and SlapStic.com takes an in depth look.

Just look at this thing. It's disgusting. Its eyes are connected, which HAS to be a medical problem, and it has big, nasty looking lips. It looks like Angelina Jolie if she were a big raunchy fish thing with a mohawk. Is that even a mohawk or is that supposed to a fin? And I guess those are wings or something on the side. That would explain why they can jump like 200 feet in the air. That ticks me off, too. You'll be running across a bridge and outta nowhere this ridiculous-looking *bleep* of a fish comes shooting out the water with 97 of his closest friends and tries to give you head trauma.

I've also never understood what the good fellows at Nintendo were smoking when they created the underwater levels. "OH I KNOW HOW TO FIGHT THE FISHIES! JUST LET THEM SHOOT FIREBALLS UNDERWATER!!!" I mean really. Who came up with that? The fact that Mario can breath underwater forever is dumb enough, but being able to burn things to death while completely submerged really takes the cake. What kind of stupid fish would die that way? Cheep Cheeps are just dumb.

    Pants! If you're going to do "The 10 Worst Enemies in Gaming History", at least put some from different games in it. What it looks like you have accomplished is just listed most of the enemies from Super Mario Bros. and put some rather lame descriptions on why you think they are the worst. Heck, I would have even been ok with "The 10 Worst Enemies in a Mario game", but this is hardly gaming history; this is a part of it. Maybe you should have brought up Super Mario Bros. 2 or Super Mario World (personally, I would have thought at the very least Birdo or Snifits). And great job on plagiarizing the pictures from Wikipedia, that really made me want to write this.


    edit: Oh, and btw, posting articles you wrote is very tacky.

      Part of the humor of the article is that even though the title suggests a vast, in depth list, all the enemies are from one game. It's intentional. And I don't see how it is tacky. I want to promote my articles, and if (so far) 87 gamegrep users like the article, then it's not hurting anyone to post it here. Also, Wikipedia didn't create those pictures, so it's ridiculous to call that plagiarism.

      Agreed. Unfortunately, RKRigney isn't the only one who does this. I think some people create GG accounts specifically for getting their own site out there to more readers. Even Neo writers like myself are allowed once in a while, but it's definitely discouraged for us.

      Horribly tacky, but there's no rule against it. I prefer to avoid articles from certain sources myself, such as (but not limited to) slapstic.com.

      Then again, it doesn't take much to throw together a Top 10 list... even if it is practically all Mario enemies. The title is a bit pretentious, given the list's limited choices.

    Just because those enemies are more "all ages" and designed so kids to enjoy them as well is no need to have a big cry over it.

      I think it's more along the lines of because the person died from those enemies constantly. Something makes me think the author recently played the game, and was aggravated by dying from them so often . . . shown in the attack against the cheep cheeps!

        Here's another thing I noticed, ALL of the enimies in Super Mario Bros (exept Podoboos and Firbars) are on that list. I don't care if it's "just for a good laugh", your articles still suck.

          *sigh* well I guess a lot of people would be offended by that, but it's okay. It's your opinion. A lot of people like my articles, though. In fact, Ryan Scott, the Executive Editor of Reviews for EGM, commented on one of my newest articles. That alone gives me enough confidence to ignore the naysayers. Thanks for voicing your constructive feedback though. Or whatever.

    well, it wasn't as lame as most of the other top10 articles posted. there was actually some funny stuff. i've never seen anyone call the squid things 8-legged klan members.
