Man who banned R18+ Video Games is Australia's 6th Most-Hated person!

Popular Australian men's magazine "Zoo Weekly" has compiled a list of Australia's Top 50 Most Hated People of 2008, based on the results of their infamous annual poll.

South Australian attorney-general Michael Atkinson was placed in sixth spot for banning R-Rated video-games, beating out big-names such as Madonna, Greg Norman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and even the Pope!
Rugby league deserter Sonny Bill Williams has edged out Bali bomber Amrozi to be named Australia's most hated person in a notorious annual poll.
Williams has topped men's mag Zoo Weekly's annual Top 50 People We Hate List.

SA attorney-general Michael Atkinson came in at six for blocking R-rated video games, followed by the Pope for "shutting down our streets and filling them with a bunch of weirdos" during World Youth Day in Sydney.

Based on men's views, the list included everybody from an incest father and daughter couple, bank chief executives and "the girl from the AAMI ads".
Surprise inclusions were pop star Madonna (44), golfer Greg Norman (13) and Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker (32).

    Well its been stated time and again, Never come between a gamer and his game, gamers have this amazing ability to spread their influences out towards the media. How else do you think Jack Thompson got in trouble? Because the Judge WAS A GAMER!

    Doesn't surprise me much, but is definitely funny. People love their video games, they feel enough hate just from losing to a friend never mind some stranger getting their games taken away from them they're sure to go mental.

    The Madonna one seemed an obvious choice, Pope threw me a bit though they worshiped him when he visited Australia to a point where I couldn't watch TV without seeing a vampire... uh I mean the Pope.

    That's not hard to believe. Didn't know they did most hated people awards though.
