The 10 Best Nintendo DS Buys of Christmas

Gameplayer has made their top ten list of Nintendo DS games for Christmas! Is it any surprise Lock's Quest is first after an article recently published by 1UP about their Nintendo DS Game of the Month.

Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood managed to make it onto the list at ninth, reflecting the worries that Sonic is dying.

Brand new games such as Dragon Quest IV and Spectrobes: Beyond the Portal also made it to the list but neither performed particularly well, with Dragon Quest IV coming in at fifth and Spectrobers ending up at the bottom of the barrel.

    ...No Disgaea DS? Instant fail. Just got the game, I'll be playing this for awhile...

    Also, WTF? Lost in Blue? those games are HORRIBLE! I'd rip out lost in blue 3 and replace it with Disgaea DS or Kirby Super Star Ultra.

    Finally, Spectrobes: beyond the portals gets some hype. the first game was hyped up alot, there was a stature of two stage 3 spectrobes in Disney land and disney world

    The funny thing is, I haven't heard about half of these games, let alone think any of them are any good.

    I hadn't heard of half of these games either and was really surprised Kirby Super Star Ultra and Chrono Trigger DS did not make the list. Perhaps they're trying to increase popularity for non popular games.

    They're going to have to change this list so that number one is the DSi.

    I've actually read that "Lock's Quest" is pretty fantastic. Along the lines of "Advanced Wars" but more RPG like and less Super Super Strategic.

        Far from it actually. Its a known fact these lists are opinionated. Hell if you actually looked at the responses from others, it seems other top games was left out, Gee I wonder why?

        Although I'm sure Final Blade does hate Nintendo - at this point, rather unsurprisingly - this is a user created list of games restricted simply to a Nintendo console, not a wide variety of consoles. I know Final Blade well enough that he wouldn't bash an article just because it has a Nintendo tag. Rather, he speaks of how half-assed this article is, and how other people are going to think differently toward these games.

    Lock's Quest is supposed to be a really good game I'm tempted to play it.
