Top 5 Amazon game sales per system worldwide in week 40, 2008

Here is the top list of games that have sold all over the world, for this week.

Wii
In North America, Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit came out on top. In Japan, Wii Fit and Disaster Day of Crisis finished on top. And in Europe, Wii Play and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 came out on top place.

Xbox 360
On the 360, Star Wars the Force Unleashed come out as second in both North America and Europe. Rock Band 2, Raiden IV, and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 came out on top.

Playstation 3
In North America, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and Metal Gear Solid 4 came out on top. In Japan, Aquanaut’s Holiday and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion came out on top. In Europe, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 and Star Wars: The Force Unleash beat out the other games for the top spots.

Mario Kart Wii races to the first place on the Wii chart. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed holds on to the #1 spot on the PS3 chart. Rock Band 2 remains on top of the Xbox 360 hitlist. Lego Batman stays on the PS2 chart. Spore evolves to the first place in the PC top 5. Kirby Super Star Ultra debuts on the DS chart. And lastly, after a discount, Syphon Filter: Logan’s Shadow returns to the PSP chart.

    Its good to see MGS4 still selling strongly. Surely testiment to the sheer popularity, word of mouth, and brilliance that the game shows. Im so happy I have two copies; so If I somehow lose one (which is pretty impossible), then I have my backup copy!

    Wii Fit eh? Must be those Japanese Maids!

    The list was predictable, no surprises except Aquanaut's Holiday because I hadn't even heard of it until recently. =(

    Disaster Day of Crisis is out in Japan? Where have I been...

    I'd ask Nintendo if it's coming out over in America, but I'd probably just get the whole "keep playing Brawl and Mario Kart" lecture.
