There is a very strong possibility of Nintendo creating a portable Virtual Console on the newly announced Nintendo DSi. If this does happen, there is a huge catalog of untapped games for Nintendo to choose from. Here are the top ten classic game series that should come to the DSi Download Service.
Castlevania series
Console: GB, GBA
Notables: Aria of Sorrow, Circle of the Moon
Castlevania, the medieval action-adventure series by Konami, has produced multiple top of the line games. The PS1 installment, Symphony of the Night, is considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. Konami tried to re-create this success with multiple handheld releases, but none of them came close until they released Aria of Sorrow. The 2003 GBA hit incorporated many of the same platforming and RPG elements from Symphony of the Night, however it also introduced several new features to the series, such as the futuristic storyline and the "Tactical Soul" system, where you absorb the souls of enemies in order to gain special abilities. Any of the handheld Castlevania games would make fine additions to the DSi download service, especially Aria of Sorrow.

I like Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, and I should try out Metal Gear Solid.
They need a Pokemon added to the list, as I can still play the original, but not the new.
It really isn't a big deal.
Either way pretty good list.
Loved the game and I really want to play it again.
The reason I needed a new DS was because my Lite's bottom screen broke, so I had planned to use the Top Screen for GBA games, but now the top screen is broken. MAYBE, if they make GBA games, I'll get a DSi for the GBA games too.
