What's the next funniest home video to other humans hurting themselves? Pets getting hurt of course!
Craig Evans of beefjack.com has posted up a survey of the ten best electrical appliances in terms of hurting pets. Over 3000 people were randomly selected to be questioned as to what home appliance has caused their little sweetie pain.
So which game console came out on top? The Nintendo Wii of course, that Wii Remote is dangerous!
Overall though the winner was the iPod. It's not surprising though, after watching such movies as Scary Movie 4.
- iPod (15 per cent)
- Laptop (10.8 per cent)
- Remote Control (10.8 per cent)
- Plasma TV (10.8 per cent)
- Wii (10 per cent)
- DVD Player (10 per cent)
- Playstation (8.3 per cent)
- Nintendo DS (5.8 per cent)
- Mobile Phone (5.8 per cent)
- Karaoke Machine (5.8 per cent)

Negligence can be the problem, in some cases.
I'd be more worried about cats (and dogs) chewing on electrical cords in general >_> My cat hasn't been hurt by my game consoles.
My real question, is how a PS3 managed to hurt an animal, unless they mean the controller in that case as well.
The Wii is indeed hazardous. Those damned wii-motes and defective straps >_> But mostly, the people waving their hands around like prats >_<
And I <3 the nyantendo cat XD
I mean, theyre not that heavy at all....
A plasma TV shoots Plasma Bolts, duh.
Hahaha yea Wii's definitely more hazardous then most of those things on that list. Just playing Wii sports flailing your arms like a bird is enough to cause problems.
Anyone see that commercial with two guys playing some sport game where it was motion sensored and he threw the controller and broke the 30"(or something) HD TV? Yea thats why.
Also I find it hard to believe PS3 can harm a cat, considering its a little to heavy for a normal cat to dip it over and hurt itself.
An upright PS3, I suppose if an animal brushed against it, it could land on them....
Meh, freak accidents, and just 'one of those things' >_>
