Undead creatures ... They have appeared in many video games over the years, both as friends and (mostly) foes. But which are the best of the best? Here are gotgame.com's favorites.

Ghosts, demons, and zombies have been part of gaming since the beginning. Though they take on different forms in the hands of different developers, they all have one thing in common: they can no longer be counted among the living.     Yeah, that's a pretty cool list actually. I laughed at the Tidus "metrosexual" bit.

    Fatal Frame really has some of the most bad ass ghosts I've ever seen. The Kusabi and Reika were my personal favorites. As for Silent Hill, how could you not include the wheel chairs from The Room? Man, fighting wheel chairs... that was pretty awesome. I laughed whenever one of them actually knocked me(Henry) down. XD

    I'd cast a vote for the zombies of Dead Rising though, especially Otis. They were terribly memorable.

    I would have redead, poes, boos, stalchilds, dry bones, Jalhalla, Bongo Bongo, Dry Bowser, King Boo, and Stallord. I know they are all Nintendo but somehow those give me the creeps. Wind Waker Poes, King Boo, and stalchilds freak me out.

    Demons aren't among the living? According to a lot of games, anyway, you can be a demon and still be among the living.

    I'm Surpised that nobody said Phantom Train from Final Fantasy VI. After all the Phantom Train is considered an Undead Character. Before I forget nice article.
