To celebrate the release of Call of Duty: World at War, we've had our resident WWII expert, and all around CoD guru, to present what he feels are the Top 11 moments from the entire franchise's history.
Personally, kind of tired of the call of duty games and WWII setting (Willing to forgive alternate timelines like Red Alert 3 and Resistance)... Sure, killing nazi's = fun and shouldn't grow old, but I'm simply tired of all WWII genre.
War is hell, there's no denying it, but sometimes war can be pretty damn exhilarating too. Take Infinity Ward's amazing Call of Duty series - the incredibly realistic first-person shooter, traditionally set during World War II (with a recent detour for Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare) delivers one of the best evocations of the battlefield experience we've ever played. As a soldier from the American, British, or Russian armies, you fight through incredibly well-designed levels that truly evoke the chaos and massive scale of the Great War, from tight urban combat to wide-open battles. In this feature, we played through the entire series one more time to pick out our eleven favorite moments, the ones that truly immersed us in the triumphs and tragedies of our brave men and women fighting overseas. These are UGO's Top 11 Call Of Duty moments - lock and load, partner.

Shock and Awe, All Ghillied Up and One Shot, One Kill were definitely the best parts of Call of Duty that I've ever played.
