GiantRealm has done up a cool article which recommends six classic PC titles that you can run on any PC these days. A note about one of the listed titles, Deus Ex: soon it'll be a great time to get into it (whether you're a DE virgin or not) with the HDTP overhaul it's getting.

The article comes complete with some great footage too. For example...

Yes, we're big Fallout whores here at GameGrep/Neoseeker.

Enjoy!

Fallout 2 (Black Isle, PC):

Look, just go buy it at gog.com. It's like $5 or something. Jesus. I shouldn't even have to recommend this.

I have recently found my (very old) laptop was able to run World of Goo.

Also Crazy Taxi the pc version runs perfect too.

I think they should have gone for a full top ten on this list.... still, great list and gives me some titles to check out that I haven't yet.

No love for Age of Empires II? One of the greatest RTS games of all time. There are a couple more which deserve to be on that list but I can't remember at the moment.

Totally agree with Age of Empires 2, they deliberately made the requirements low so anyone could play it, and it was mighty fun.

I've been meaning to play Deus Ex again but I keep forgetting for some reason.

No idea why Starcraft isn't there though. It has even lower requirements than RoN and is a far superior game.
