Top 7 Life Bars In Video Games!

The top seven life bars of all time is a bit of a quirky list, but a cool one! It contains such things as a pulsing heart and brain, spinal fluid and a face which gets bloodier by the second. In fact, one is even measured with a female's chest.

The Legend of Zelda Series took out first place with their class style of a series of hearts due to lasting a long time and one of the best remembered. This was followed by the loved classic Doom in second and somehow the Guitar Hero series in third.

    But cool to see some people remember Primal Rage. That game kicked ass. Loved how the heart exploded when you/they were defeated.

    Mysterio from Spider-man 2 should be there. He fills up about 4 lifebars looking like he is impossible to beat, until Spidey punches and Mysterio is instantly beaten. That's one intimidating lifebar (to me at least).

      I remember that, I laughed so hard at that part, especially since I was low on health at the time and anticipated a hasty death when those life bars started filling up.

        Yiazmat from FFXII had like 20 life bars. That fight sucked.

          Yea, it was worse then Nemesis in FF10, at least he had 10,000,000 HP. But Yiazmat had 50,112,254 and was supposedly level 73.

          I really don't see the health bar in Trespasser: Jurassic Park anything special.

      I can relate. The King Statue from Mother 3 has 100,000,000 HP (That's a hell of a lot considering the final boss only has 6569 HP), but theres an itea that you can purchase from a guy standing RIGHT NEXT TO IT will reduce it's HP to 1.

      They really should tell you that

    I dont exactly agree at a top 10 life bars ingame at beeing...that important for us to know, but i have seen stranger top 10's, so nice list.

        Correct me if i'm wrong but isn't GOW's lifebar Kratos's sword itself? I'm pretty sure it was his sword up there and the red bar going all over it.

          If you watch this clip of Kratos the life bars are on the sword, which green represents his health, blue his magic bar and it decreases after uses or getting hit. The sword isn't his health.

    A list about health bars? Seriously? The old Aladdin one on the Genesis was a cool design with the smoke from the lamp, as well as the Maximo: Ghosts to Glory health bar of having your armor broken off until you're in your boxers.
