CheatCC's Cody Awards: Best of '08

Did MGS4 win game of the year with CheatCC or did Gears of War 2 take it away from Old Snake? A good list with plenty of categories for every game of '08.

Another year goes by and here we are again, making tough choices about the best games of the year. 2008 was a truly unique year, full of the hottest releases one could imagine, lots of surprises, and also some disappointment. From game delays to the massive release of authentic shovelware, a few annoying things have happened in the gaming world, but overall, we can't complain! There were so many good games and the quality standards have increased so much, it took us a while to make up our minds! No one said it was easy, but after battling off our dilemmas, here are CheatCC's results.     Not surprised that LBP won GOTY, but can't believe that LBP actually got nominated for the best graphics award...

    That Cody really liked LBP didn't he? I guess it's a good game but it didn't impress me as much as many other games did.

    Should've been Grid for racer. L4D for Shooter. MGS for action. No Warhawk for PSN? =[

    Glad to see Fallout 3 winning Best RPG. I think Left 4 Dead should have won Best Horror but, whatever.

    I'm surprised it didn't even have RA3 for a nominee in the strategy section.

    That and Sins are the two best RTS out atm, IMO.
