    fallout 3 1st place?

    What a nightmare.

    I thought that game wasn't that great. Haven't even bothered to finish it. I thought Mass Effect was a WAY better RPG, but I'm a freak I guess.

      You are! I felt Mass Effect was Mass Fail Effect. I got pretty far but it was ehhh, couldn't finish it. Ok, I'm over exaggerating, it was good story wise, but it had some flaws to it. I couldn't see what all the hype over it was about as I found it to just be a generically decent game.

      I was disappointed with FO3's ending but the overall game experience was fun. Although, you come from a heavy FO1/FO2 background so I can see why you didn't like it.

        well if he thought Fallout 3 was going to be a true sequel for the Fallout series, thats his fault. Bethesda said numerous times that it was going to be Oblivion with guns, that just happens to be set in the Fallout universe.

    I'm extremely pleased to see both Persona 4 and Persona 3 FES on that list for top PS2 games of 2008. I thought they were incredibly exceptional games and they near instantly became my favorite games of all time.

    Two Shin Megami titles in a row, in the top spots of PS2 games >_> I heard they were good, didn't realize they were so loved.

    Yikes. GTA4 and Gears 2 are the top two games for the 360? Sorry, but I felt both were a bit over-rated (Gears 2 by a lot).

    Dead Space to me was easily a top 5 game of 2008 for the 360.

    Gears of War 2 is better than GTA IV

    Metal Gear Solid 4 is better than GTA IV

    Once again a list that jumps on the 'We love GTA' band wagon.

      Chrono Trigger is number 1? Its not that great IMO, but there weren't many good DS games this year anyway.

      Chrono Trigger is incredible. There's just the whole thing that it's an SNES game that they just added a few features and a new dungeon to that makes it a slight let-down.

        Well either way. There weren't that many good DS games this year, as Zeta said. But a lot of the games over complicate themselves with the touch screen. Take Zelda and the Hourglass or whatever it was. That game went mad using the touch screen for EVERYTHING. It kinda needs a good idea for a game to be good, no matter how interactive.

        Interactivity isn't what makes a game fun but either way, we still haven't had a decent DS game.
