For a PSP fan like myself, this type of a list is always a good thing. Gamasutra takes a look at the would-be best PSP games of 2009.

With nearly a full year of of game releases ahead, Gamasutra is picking out noteworthy titles due in 2009 for each home and handheld platform. Looking at the PlayStation Portable's slate, we've previewed 15 standout titles, from Japanese RPGs like Phantasy Star Portable to quirky releases such as Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero?

    Could the lineup be any better? Honestly.

    Any speculation that the PSP has no decent games is blatent stupidity. Sure, its an opinion...but a closeminded one at that..

    Both the Nintendo DS and the PSP have a fantastic 2009 lineup in store for us gamers. Combine that to all three consoles offering quite a wholesome lineup, and I personally think 2009 is set to be an even better year than 2008. A pricy one mind...

    What the hell is DJ Max Portable Fever? I'm gonna have to look that one up since it snagged the top spot.

    Edit: NVM, list was in no particular order, and it looks like I can skip that title....I'm rhythm gamed out. LMAO

    Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is on my No1, followed by Dissidia, then Kingdom Hearts. What's Agito XIII?

      Agito XIII is the portable version of Final Fantasy XIII. Definitely not a game to miss out on.
      I'm going to give MH another chance this time though I played MHF2 only for a week. (Blame Crisis Core for the abandonment. )
