Blend Games: Best Gaming Prospects for 2009

A list of upcoming games to look forward to in 2009. Blend Games writer' Nathan Ochiltree lists games like Final Fantasy XIII, Punch-Out Wii and Star Ocean: Second Evolution as some of the prospective highlights for 2009.

The New Year is here and with it comes a slew of new promising titles for each console. Here are some picks for games that are bound to rock your socks in the coming year.

    those games are crap except for Starcraft 2 and Bioshock 2. what about Resident Evil 5?

    Wii Punchout? c'mon, seriously. why not play the original Punchout which i guarantee is better. stupid Wii motion controls can kiss my ass.

    I think Punch out wii looks awesome, although i never did try the first one. Still, i think it looks awesome

    I personally think this list is comprising of games that are not out in the next month or two which is why the bigger games releasing about now are not on the list.

    Bioshock 2, GOW 3, Killzone 2 and Tekken 6 are the games that i look most forward to (even though i'm a PC gamer and i don't have any consoles at least for noW).
