*Levels of surprise at all time low*.

What about the Wii? That'll have slaughtered both of them.

Next time they want to make a Console statistic, that really need to include the most recent ones, not just 2.

Let's see, MS claimed they outsold PS3's 3:1 on Black Friday, and 2:1 in the holiday season. I wonder when they'll say that Wii's outsold 360's almost 2:1.

Never. Would be pretty stupid too.
Cake companies should compare there sales to like, fighter jets or something.

In this year we sold 10,000,000 cakes.
Where as Fighterjetproduction.Co has only sold 5 fighter jets this year.

For the record I have all of the systems and couldn't give a rat's @$$ about one or the others profits or sales success. I like each one for different unique reasons.

I just don't think the 360 and PS3 see the Wii for what it is. However the Wii is not in the same ball game either. I guess they see the Wii as something for people that are happy with 480p and analog sound, they target people more "hard core".

Biggest question: who gives a flying sh*t?

Shareholders, and people who want to sell shares.

Yeah but the average gamer is not a shareholder, so quit pulling that card. So I repeat: who gives a flying sh*t?

Are you saying that as in, why its on GG or why the numbers are there?

I'm just saying that while people like to see their console do well in sales, they're probably too busy actually gaming to be really concerned about who outsold who. PS3 still sold pretty good in December, so why we'd be concerned over who outsold what is beyond me.

Because fanboys like to use this info as proof that their console kicks your consoles ass. Even if you say you don't care. Though you obviously care a little since you opened this article and took the time to post. After all you could be playing games instead...

To be honest, I checked the article so I could see how this is a horrible statistic and how Sony actually sold more consoles and/or M$ is a bunch of bragging stupid poo poo faces according to PangTong_Blademaster or some other Sony fans.

          They must've missed it.

this is extremly obvious. The ps3 is better than wii and 360. Sales show nothing about which consoles best

      Fanboy much? Gtfo

The 360 and PS3 are equal when compared properly.
