The Xbox 360 outsold the Playstation 3 in the holiday quarter 2:1, and 1.4 million were sold in December 2008. Also third party games for the 360 have sold more this holiday season, starting from $298 million in November 2008 raising to $504 million in December 2008. Was a good holiday season for the Xbox 360.
Microsoft has announced that according to NPD data, its Xbox 360 console outsold the PS3 by more than 2 to 1 in the holiday quarter in the US, helped by 1.4 million units sold in December 2008, a new record for the Xbox 360.
According to Microsoft, third-party game sales for Xbox 360 increased from $298 million in November to $504 million in December. Software highlights for 2008 included Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, Grand Theft Auto IV, Madden NFL 09, Left 4 Dead and Fable II.

Cake companies should compare there sales to like, fighter jets or something.
In this year we sold 10,000,000 cakes.
Where as Fighterjetproduction.Co has only sold 5 fighter jets this year.
I just don't think the 360 and PS3 see the Wii for what it is. However the Wii is not in the same ball game either. I guess they see the Wii as something for people that are happy with 480p and analog sound, they target people more "hard core".
Shareholders, and people who want to sell shares.
They must've missed it.
The 360 and PS3 are equal when compared properly.
