Top Games played on Xbox Live this past week - Go Call of Duty 4!

Major Nelson has posted the Live Activity for this week, summing up what is being played online in the gaming world for Xbox 360. I am amazed that despite the release of World at War, this does not hinder the CoD4 community from taking down everything that isn't Halo 3. Real football (FIFA) manages to beat out American football (Madden), and surprisingly, people are still playing Grand Theft Auto.

    I was expecting GoW2 to completely dominate the most active games list, since the first Gears was popular for a long time, but I see that didn't happen this time around.

      I think there was a recent patch with the game. However, I still read there are lag issues with people playing in non-us territories.

      Actually I think that might just be counting all of the people that have public orbs enabled so they can see everyone else over Xbox Live.

    Woah. Fable II being up there is a big suprise, I thought the online mode was crappy. The top three are obvious, I wasn't expecting GTA IV to be beaten by Left 4 Dead though

    I still play CoD4 online, almost as much as I play CoD5. So it's no surprise it's still doing so good. CoD4 never gets old, love that game.

    I played CoD4 and CoD5 today, and I have to say I had a lot more fun playing Modern Warfare. I have said it before, but going back to WWII was a step backwards for Call of Duty.

    I was expecting all the COD's to obliterate the list. Nearly everyone I know who owns a 360(that's a lot) nearly all of 'em have at least one of the COD's on their 360
