A list of 7 of the most Bizarre video game characters that somehow manage to remain awesome. Ranging from such video games as Wolfenstein 3D to Age of Mythology all the way up to Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3.

Sometimes it’s the little characters that are most memorable. When asked what character a player thought was the best from any given video game, their answer may surprise you.

    Oh hell yeah! The flying purple hippo is my favorite RTS unit ever!

    That thing was awesome. But it wasn't as cool as the flying bear with lazer vision that wore a Canadian flag as a cape. That thing was sweet.

    I definitely agree with the RE4 merchant.

    I dont know how many times I kept asking myself "Why the *bleep* is this guy standing around in a dark and damp underground selling weapons when there are virus infected villagers all around?"

    I guess he just really needs the money.
