I agree with Dogmeat on the list. For about the first time, I've grown attached to a "character" in a game. I actually care for him, even leave him at the Megaton home if I think things are going to get too tough for him.

I felt so much for him and then he died and never came back. Also I chose my path at the end of Fable II just to get my dog back.

I so agree with number one. Golden Fury is probably the best move in the whole game, not only is it funny but with brilliant rewards.

While I'll admit that I recognize the dogs from the game, it's still devastating that Link as a wolf isn't mentioned, considering number one is a wolf.

Fable is the best one I think because you actually start to care for him/her if you play long enough not that I would know I don't even have a 360.

Angelo from ff8 gave me some funny memories... that was by far the strangest use of a dog. I mean come on it blows the crap out of enemies when you mount it.

Nothing anyone could say would possibly even scratch the masterpiece of a sentence that you just provided. Between my spilt coffee, and the rapid giggling of me in the workplace, that was powerful. Everyones looking at me now though...

Fallout 3 was always going to make the list. Being new and awesome. Having said that it doesn't beat the Fable II dog for interesting points. I mean in fable you can through a ball off a cliff into a lake and he'll fetch it. That's a mans best friend.

Every Nintendog game was included, that's the only game with a dog I've played.
