SlapStic.com completes its epic list of the top 100 PS2 games off all time. Will your all time favorite games get featured? Read on to see for yourself.

The PS2 is, without a doubt, one of the greatest consoles of all time. Despite having weaker hardware than its counterparts, the Xbox and Gamecube, it absolutely blew them away in sales, and produced a much more diverse and fantastic library than either of the competing consoles combined. As we get closer and closer to the second quarter of 2009, it becomes apparent more and more each day that the PS2 is at the beginning of the end.

    Yay for Aggressive Inline.

I personally would have had the Punisher in there.

So the score that they gave them is just the review score avg of other sites? Not a big fan of putting them in alphabetical order either

tell me why I should rate one game the 71st best ps2 game and another the 63rd, and tell me why I should have to deal with whiny fanboys who don't agree with the order I chose, and then I'll stop using alphabetical order.

Alphabetical gives all the great games equal space, while worst-to-best is just there to confirm everyone's preconceived notions.

ffx2 had a more inventive battle system than any other generic ff game.

The lack of the follwing games made me sad:

    Max Payne 2
    Pro Ev 3, 4 and 5
    Ratchet and Clank
    Timesplitters 3
    SmackDown!: Here Comes The Pain
    LMA Manager 2002
    Vice City
    Tony Hawks Underground

I know that all of these games are sequels but that doesn't make them poorer games.

I definitely agree about Max Payne 2.

That's one of my favorite games ever.

i loved ts2 but ts3 was totally lame and way too easy. the platinum arcade medals were a joke. not even ninja monkeys could save that game from being a terrible sequel to ts2 (btw - for he who may not know; there actually are ninja monkeys in ts3. that wasnt a joke)

TimeSplitters 3 was probably my favourite of the 2 I've played (2 and 3).

I don't think I can choose 2 or 3 to be the better one, I think they are both awesome games.

I don't think MP2 should be in there. It's a good game but it's just not different enough to the first one.

It really shouldn't matter if it's not that different from the first.

Is it better than some of the games mentioned on that list? Yes, therefore it should be in.

I don't get your lists, You make no effort explainig why said games are any good, Apart from a picture and generic title info, you decline to even give the games a rank in your 'top 100'
Whats this difference between this list and 100 randomly placed pictures of ps2 games?
