Top 10 Worst Video Game Movies

This list goes through the top ten worst movies to ever be based off of video games. While almost any video game based movie could have been on this list, these ten are probably the absolute worst.

There are so many things wrong about this movie that I really don’t know where to start. Why was it futuristic? Why is it so dark? Why were they all people? What’s with the fungus? Where are the koopa troopas? Why are the goombas big monsters? Why aren’t there any turtles? Since when was Mario’s last name Mario? Why are all the cars attached to an electric grid? Who authorized this terrible piece of crap? Who ever said Koopa descended from a T-Rex? Why would dinosaurs evolve into Humans? How could you possibly ride Yoshi when he was that small? How is there a whole society of people living under NYC? Why does Koopa need the necklace to leave said city? Why is Toad a dirty hippie with a bad hair cut? Since when is the Princess an paleontologist?

    I liked the Resident Evil, Tomb Raider and Mortal Kombat movies.

    But HOLY CRAP am i shocked that Old Wizards ACTUALLY put a Nintendo Franchise as BAD.

    ITS THE END OF THE WORLD.

    Well it's nice to know me and sis aren't the only people who liked the Mario Bros movie lol.

    MK was awesome.The TR movies were enjoyable as were the RE movies.

    Why isn't Final Fantasy on the list?

      It wasn't an adaption of any of the Final Fantasy games, just had a title of Final Fantasy.

          From what I hear Final Fantasy Spirits Within had little similarities to any of the games.

    I would agree more if it had been the second Mortal Kombat movie. It was way worse.

    This was posted a few months ago I believe.

    But I enjoyed the first Mortal Kombat movie, the last Resident Evil flick, as well as the Tomb Raider ones (lesser so, but still entertaining).

    I kinda liked the Resident Evil movie.

    House of the Dead certainly was a trainwreck of a movie. and what made it even more unwatchable is the inclusion of really fast, brief clips of the video game (I assume since I never played it) poppingup at random times, mostly during zombie attacks

    I remember watching the super mario bros one when I was really small and finding it scary. The dinosaur head dudes were fairly extreme at that age.

    haha, I can always only think of the Mario Bros movie. The others were tolerable but Mario Bros was NOTHING like the game. In fact, if not for the name, it's not easy to figure out that it's based off a game!

    If they really wanted a challenge they would have done a top 5 video game movie list. Other than the original MK and maybe the tomb raider movies theyve all been pretty horrible.
