Weapons From Video Games The World Isn't Ready For

A humorous look at some of the classic video game weapons that if used in the real world would have hilarious consequences. Ranging from the banana bomb from Worms to the Landshark gun in Armed and Dangerous.

Through the years many games have had weapons that have laid us flat with "shock & awe". As we blast baddies with shotguns and nuclear arsenals, we sit there and mumble to ourselves, "How COOL was that!?" or "How AWESOME would that be!?" We all think it would be a good idea to get our hands on a BFG 9000 or a Golden Gun and just wreck havoc GTA style in the real world. However, be careful what you wish for. Our world is simply not ready for some of these weapons to become a reality. This two-part feature will explore some of the more unique weapons that are better off being in our TVs rather than in our actual hands...

    And now come on, the first games that should come to mind with weapons are the games made by Insomniac! They're known for creating awesome weapons!

    It would be kind of strange to be at the firing range and happen to look over your shoulder and see somebody firing a gold desert eagle, or something like that.

      ...or a Spartan Laser Cannon(Halo 3)....or a Lancer(Gears of War)...or a Gravity Gun(Half Life 2)...

    Every single weapon from Ratchet & Clank are way over the top. So yeah, I agree with Red 9.

      I just remembered, didn't they used to make commercials about this group of guys who were testing out the R&C weapons in real life? I hadn't been in to R&C around that time, so I didn't pay much attention to them though.

        Also as for gravity gun i hope you mean powered up version that you get at the end of hl2.

        as for the the sheep bomb in worms i think that would piss off the peta people if i strapped c4 onto a sheep and had it suicide bomb a place.

    there are a lot of weapons in worms that the world isn't ready for. like super sheep. and the concrete donkey.

    also the banana bomb isn't cheating. everybody gets one, and it's your fault if you let everyone else use theirs first.
