Rich Knight from Blend Games compiled a list of the top 5 modern video game cartoons. Some of them aren't that bad, but others...well, they're video game cartoons.

Well, at my old age of 25, I happen to remember some of the video game cartoons of MY generation, too, and I’ve compiled them below. And sorry, Link, all the, “Well, excuuuuuse me, Princess’” in the world couldn’t get you on this list. Your show was absolutely TERRIBLE!

    Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was so *bleep*ing good, shame the whole series sucks now.

    Earthworm Jim was awesome, I used to watch it on t.v. and then play the game for hour on end, shame I was crap at it =C

    Yeah Sonic the Hedgehog was the greatest cartoon for video games, in my oppinion. I hated it when they ended it and they had those other, messed up sonic cartoons

    i watched Earthworm Jim and Sonic ALL the damn time back then. i also liked the other Sonic series made after that was a bit different, where he and Tails lived in some forest place with Princess Sally and some other peeps, it was more serious and a bit more "grown up" than AOSTH, but i still liked that one cause of how silly it was. this is of course back when Sonic cartoons were great, before this "Sonic X" bullshit and what not. i also watched Mega Man sometimes too.

      Dude, I loved that Sonic, too. The one where they lived in the forest and it was geared toward a more mature audience.

      It actually dealt with some pretty serious topics too, like social assimilation and breaking down the established institution for the sake of independent freedoms.

      HAHAHA Now, I don't like the language in the video, but I tell you I HAD to laugh! It's funny, and true, but you know none of those things matter when you enjoy the show!

    Haha, that Super Mario show was cool back in the day. I actually have a couple VHS tapes featuring some episodes on it still lyring around.

    The Sonic show was great. Sonic was voiced by Jaleel White, aka Steve Urkel, heh.

        Only his steve voice was annoying . . . in a funny way. But you forget, he uses his Stephan voice. His real voice.

    Ah man, I used to love Earthworm Jim so much! It was just so wacky and funny! I used to play the game on my old PC for hours on end. If only there was more games related to him. Hell, stick him in the next Super Smash Bros game even .
