Oh *bleep* me in the eye...

These demeaning "articles" are getting about as annoying as those dumb "fanboy" editorials. Besides, why would you even try to turn your girlfriend into a gamer? If you can both enjoy the same things, that's great.

But if she isn't a gamer, live with it, love her for who she is, and take her shopping for shoes... or... whatever it is women are expected to do in order to fulfill society's stereotypes.

It's fair. For example, no one doesn't like music. Everyone enjoys it, and you may not be into movies, but no one doesn't like them either.

Are games so different? Not really, they just have a "for kids" stigma. If you can ease someone into it, I doubt they'd find a reasonable fault in games so as to not play.

No problem with sharing your love for games. If I was with someone who didn't game, I'd try to get 'em into it too. It's the way these articles are worded and what not that tends to irk me.

Women are just people with breasts, not another species. And hand-eye coordination is not beyond us, despite beliefs to the contrary. :\

Disparities between the sexes derive from social teachings and nothing else, I feel. Everyone is infinite if we let ourselves be.

Sometimes I'm wondering if I'm not another species. 'Cause I had recently a comment saying that "It exist girls playing TF2?". I'm not shocked by, I'm used by it since 8 years, when I entered first a chat about games and where people were impressed by the fact that I was a girl. Society, when you're teaching that boys play videogames and not girls...

Also, since when hand-eye coordination is beyond us? I didn't know about that belief.

Well RCG, I agree with you completely . . . except women in my opinion are not "just people with breasts." I mean, that would make men attracted to women really just attracted to . . . guys with breasts. Women are indeed different from men and shouldn't be ashamed of that. Men are men, Women are women . . . people need to not try to unisex them

But I know what you were meaning, I just had to mention that little tidbit.

But yeah, why don't people just realize to enjoy the company of the person you're in a relationship with. Not about the sex, not about any particular activity, but about THEM! Men, spend time with your wife/girlfriend doing activities they enjoy (and you enjoy their company), and women, do the same for the men. Don't try to force the other to enjoy your activities just so they spend time with you.

If you're with someone who will only spend time with you if they are doing something they love . . . then you're with the wrong person TBH

I actually really like this story. It reminds me of playing games and spending time with my boyfriends, ha ha. I love Tetris! I have played them all, and I think these are all good games that pretty much anyone can get behind and enjoy.

Although I'm much more of a gamer than most girls, I pretty much agree with this list. Why wouldn't a guy try to turn his girl into a gamer? I think a lot of girls who don't play don't play because they don't know what games are out there. If a guy would take the time to show his girl some games she might like, who knows, she might!

Well, uh, Sam... I hope my comment is more useful than the other two. They aren't very good or constructive.

      LOL! Thats amusing.

I wouldn't want to tuen my girlfriend into a gamer because it doesn't seem right, it's like saying "play games because I love it and we have nothing else to do". I'd rather go pub or take her out for a meal than play games.

I had my doubt on a couple of these games but they all actually make sense. Oh and I love the comment about women are just people with breast and his username has girl in it...

I was turned in a real gamer with Doom II but it's true that I've begun with Tetris and Super Mario Bros. Who from my generation didn't try these two, boys or girls?

I would let her try, Super Mario Land, Sonic Battle Adventure 2, and then seal the deal with The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. That is what I would do to make my girlfriend a gamer.

I think this is more a list of games the person likes, and not games he thinks a girlfriend would like.

This has to be his likes, nots his girlfriends... well unless his GF is 40 then Tetris would be right up her street. No shock to see Sims there as well most girls I know play that ._.

I would never want my girlfriend to become a gamer, because she's just fine the way she is. Besides, this list is another one of those opinionated articles in which only the creator agrees on.
