Binge Gamer writes: "Japan has all the luck. While PS3 owners in the States sit here with a bland selection of PSOne classics, the Japanese have just about every game under the sun."

Listing a handful of the better PSOne Classics available on the Japanese PSN, Binge Gamer's Perry Piekarski suggests that Sony does everything in its power to bring them to North American gamers.

I can’t help but feel jealous of the Japanese PlayStation Store. It seems they get all the good PSOne Classics while the rest of the globe gets the shaft.

Sure, North American PS3 owners have gems like Symphony of the Night and MediEvil. But the Japanese store has more than twice the PSOne Classics we have in the western hemisphere (which, last I checked, was a measly 28).

Hell, they even have an entire section devoted to SquareEnix games. You know how many SquareEnix games we have in the North American PS Store? Zero. Zip. Nada. Also read NONE.

Of course, when I saw this tidbit of news, I couldn’t help but feel a bit hopeful. Though I’m afraid to believe it (the gaming industry has broken my heart enough, thank you very much), it’d be freakin’ great if it were true. And if not? Well, I guess we can keep on bitching. We’ll always have that.

Still, a lack of cited evidence has forced me to compile a list of the ten PSOne Classics that Sony needs to export to the North American PlayStation Store—pronto. I’m sure the rest of the world would like these games too, so I encourage Sony to spread the wealth.
