Although April didn’t have as many blockbuster hits as in March, it was still filled with solid new game releases. The selection for Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade were especially solid last month.

April was definitely a slow month when compared to March. Although it may be lacking in blockbuster hits, it was still a solid month for under-the-radar titles. Here are the top five games released in April.

If you're not playing Rhythm Heaven, you hate having fun. That's all there is to it. Buy it.

I've actually not played any of those top five games. I guess I'm pretty slow these days.

Maybe I should check them out.

I've only ever played Banjo Tooie for N64. Haven't even heard of the other ones, but they sound fun.

Riddick should be number 1. Great value getting Butcher Bay update on the disc.

Rhythm Heaven does seem fun, but from what I heard, the minigames are repetitive and gets old quickly. Can someone here convince me to get it, please? :<

    Can't go wrong with Banjo-Tooie, though. <3

Playing Rhythm Heaven is just a very-addicting game. It's genuine simplicity in how it is played makes it one of the better games to pick up and play or sit down with for a while.

    Riddick??

Great my wallet is a barren wasteland, I'll guess I'll just have to pretend it won't come out for another couple of months until I get my money.

    ...I hate being broke.

Rhythm Heaven is not a rehash of anything.
