Top 5 Developers for the Xbox 360 and PS3

This article looks at what we think are the Top 5 developers that have released games on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. There are so many good ones out there, but we have narrowed it down to five.

Even though the second game did disappoint some Gears fans, the affect that Epic has had on the sale of Xbox 360 consoles and the influence Gears has had on the shooting genre in general is immeasurable.

      Yeah, so did I. It's a good list though, I agree with it for the most part. Not surprised to see Capcom first, but I thought Bethesda would have made it on there to be honest.

        Bare in mind this is for the PS3 and 360. Overall Bethesda are epic, but when it comes to the consoles they don't put in as much time or effort as they do with PC versions, and the console versions are usually a lot more buggy and glitchy. Overall Bethesda are epic but when it comes to devs for these two particular consoles they aren't as great.

    It would look a bit silly doing a top 5 for each console with so many developers doing multi-platform games. I would have repeated a couple if I had done that. Sorry for any confusion with the title.

    Long live Capcom!

    With that said, I don't agree with most of the list. Developers like Valve, Square Enix, and Rockstar should have been mentioned instead of EPIC and Guerrila.

    No I'm ok with those. EPIC make, pardon this, epic effort to bring great games to both the Xbox360 & PS3. (PS3 Timed Exclusive, Unreal Tournament 3 + the Titan Pack & Gears of War, Xbox360 exclusive)

    Guerilla Games created the Killzone franchise which, on it's second & third attempts, created beautiful and long lasting games with additional content promised in the future. So I'm happy with that. Capcom I'm losing faith in, I wasn't sold on RE5 as where a lot of other fans, so that's my only negative thought.
