The Top 5 Games You Probably Didn't Play

I was too young to know of these games, but for those looking for that bit of PC gaming nostalgia, this list is for you. Many were the first to incorporate gaming elements which we now take for granted.

I’m giving the world exactly what it needs: another ranked video game list. There are plenty of games you haven’t played, whether because they weren’t your cup of tea or you hadn’t been born yet. But having grown up right along with PC gaming, I think I can safely say I’ve played at least five of the most compelling and entertaining games in history. These are the games that I look back on like classic novels, or as fondly as my first kiss (perhaps even fonder).

    Wow some real classics there - Doom, Magic, Wasteland. Nice find, Ameer. A bit before my time though.

    Eh, just another "REMEMBER THE GOOD OL DAYS?" rambling about how X Y and Z are terrible by todays standards, but some people still play them.

    I guess #5 on the list looked kinda cool.

    pity it didnt include Zeus: Master of Olympus. i was hooked on that game for months when i was just 10 years old. kinda like 'magic' which is included here.

    This list is awesome. I love all these games. Star Control 2 is one of the best times I ever had as a kid playing PC Games. I'd recommend it to anyone. Problem is that it's pretty dated now, but if you don't care about graphics, and you and a buddy have some time to kill, this game rules hands down.

    The only game there I have actually played properly is the multiplayer DOOM. Had some fun with that though I always got whupped at it..

    Hehe good times. Although I hated Ultima Underworld: Stygian Abyss -_-. It only gets accolades because it is literally the first ever real time first person RPG made, but was otherwise not very interesting to play. Master of Magic was awesome .

    I downloaded Wasteland from Abandonia yesterday, and it really suprised me. Games really were better in the old days.

    Interesting list that was. I didn't really know any of those games it listed nor have I played them. The only game that I had heard of before reading the list was DOOM multiplayer. I might download some of those games and see if I missed out on anything.
