If you've played online co-op at some point, then you've undoubtedly come across at least one annoying online gamer. Whether they're an ammo-hoarder or a drill sergeant, these are the gamers that you never want to see by your side. Here are Gamesradar's top 9 worst types of gamers to have on your team.

Go to the source for the full list.

The concept of joining forces to co-operatively battle a common enemy in a game is beautiful. But in practice, when you've formed an alliance online, sometimes your own team-mates can be more of an enemy than the enemy. There are millions of strangers out there to partner up with, so how come we always seem to end up fighting side-by-side with some of the worst types of gamers out there? Like this bunch of a-holes, for example...

Wow . . . I agree 100% with this article! The sad thing is that most often these types make up the majority of those you end up playing against. Every now and then you may find some great people to play with, but . . . sadly, it's not often.

Lmao, I agree with this list completely. Aside from "The Mute", I have a friend who fits each and every one of those descriptions. But, people who play Left 4 Dead and other team-based games should be forced to use a mic. It should be a requirement for games like that.

I agree with everything on the list, except "mutes". "Blamers" and "gobshites" especially bug me. That's probably why I don't mind "mutes" so much. I'd rather play with a person who doesn't talk to me than play with a person who blames me for their mistakes or screams random bullshit and profanity through the mic during 99.9% of gameplay. >_>

Might as well have made it a Top 10 list and added "any preteen with a mic".

Yeah the mutes are tolerable because some people play better without talking. Some you DON'T want to talk!

But nah, not "any preteen with a mic" added to the list. The problem is "any adult with a preteen maturity level!" I've played with kids more mature than adults

Define "adult". I rarely play a game with anyone who is older than 20. Most pre-teens are just down right annoying, while older teens (generally older than 16) are a lot more immature. I think it also depends a lot on the game. I generally find more mature people playing games like Forza 2, Burnout: Paradise, Left 4 Dead and more immature people playing games like Call of Duty, Halo 3, Gears of War, etc.

Yeah it does depend on the game. Adult, to me, is . . . well 20 and up. I know legally 18+, but I think of adult as being 20 and up when defining it for gaming online and all that.

I think I fit into the "slow reader" and "mute" categories.

im a mute plain and simple i really dont like the trash talking shits you see on all the time. Completely ruins the game weather they are on my team or not.

Agreed. I really don't like trash talking in games, though it seems unavoidable. It's terrible when the other team does it, worse when your own teammate decides to be a jackass.

play for fun man, I dont give a shit who I'm playing with, when me and my brother play as far as I'm concerned anyone not in the gene pool is an enemy. And even he's not so trustworthy Also anyone who sounds like they may have boobies is on side. Other than that it's fair game, rip the shit out of people, call em names play bohemian rhapsody over and over, shoot em in the head, and if friendly fire is off just run around em in circles continuely till they start crying it's like school all over again. high five. good times.

Having to play with a "damsel" in Nazi Zombies in Call of Duty 5 is annoying as hell!

yeah im a bit of a damsel in L4D sometimes, in versus, but i seem to attract Boomer vomit like a giant magnet and im always blinded it seems like, then i immediately get jumped by a Hunter or dragged by a Smoker. im usually pretty good against Tanks though.

I fall into the "Mute" category myself. Sometimes, I'd rather just listen and concentrate on the game, especially if it's a driving game like Burnout. Unless I have an actual friend playing with me or I've been shoved into a leadership position (MMOs), I stay pretty quiet.

Yeah, I'm the same way... except for in Left 4 Dead, considering it's actually helpful to scream "TANK" also my teammates never seem to notice me being dragged away by a smoker unless I speak or scream NOOOOOOOOOOO
