Koku Gamer takes a look at the top 10 moments that make you say "Oh Sh#$%", some of the games include Zelda, Shadow of Colossus and Metal Gear Solid 4. The list is full of some of our favorite all time games.

Your up playing games at four am. The lights are off, and you feel exhausted. You have little to no health, the last time you saved was seven cups of coffee ago, and your not sure whether or not you can feel your legs. Your hands are clammy, and the analog stick keeps sliding from your thumb. It’s all a bit too tense for your liking. Suddenly, something shoots from the wall, hurtling toward you.

    Yeah, I can relate to Majora's Mask totally turning the Zelda series gameplay on its head. I do wonder if the visual style of Wind Waker had more impact though (not for the better but just more).

    I always felt this way whenever I was running out of time on Majora's Mask. I would have like five minutes left, \look up to see the moon only a hundred feet away, and then say these exact words.

      On Gyorg(boss 3), I spent all 3 days fighting it because it kept kicking my ass with those little fish. I almost had it beat when my GAME OVER screen came up for time running out

    Playing through God Of War for the first time, and after struggling with all those mini-hydras, seeing the huge hydra just raise it's head was definitely an "Oh sh*t" moment. Or whenever you get Pandora's Box and Ares kills you right at the Temple entrance!

    I'd add SSBB's Great Maze in Subspace Emissary to the list. It wasn't an oh shit moment like "wow, oh shit" but more of like "oh shit, I have to do this whole *bleep*ing thing all over again?"

    I think the plot twist in Knights of the Old Republic was definitely an "Oh Shit" moment.

    Another for me personally was decapitating someone for the first time in Ninja Gaiden.

    I dunno, Maria's merciful execution in Gears 2 was pretty brutal.

    And I'm about the only person on the planet who didn't care that Aeris / Aerith was killed. If anything, Final Fantasy Tactics (original) had the most "Oh shit!" moments of the franchise.

      Not really "Oh shit". An "Oh shit" for fallout 3 would be a deathclaw chasing you down as soon as you leave the vault

        No, an oh shit moment is when the Behemoth flies out of nowhere outside GNR and you have no idea what's going on.

        The Fatman does kill the feel of it afterward but if there was any oh shit moment for me, it was that xD
