A brief analysis and overview of the top Xbox Live titles for the week of June 29th, including notes from last week's top games and what is possible upcoming.

I don't think the top five games will be changing anytime soon. If anything, we can only hope that when Modern Warfare 2 releases, it will unite those who split from World at War and CoD4, so we can at least see some other games make their way onto the list.

However, I foresee a similar split between Halo 3 and Halo ODST users when that drops, probably taking the 3 and 4 spot, but that is quite a while away. I love seeing the strong support of Left 4 Dead despite the turmoil that game creates.

[Prototype] has fallen completely off the list, with Rock Band 2 making it's way back on again (last present two weeks ago). Honestly, I don't see the game coming back on the list anytime soon. However, I do see the other newer (better) sandbox game, Red Faction, making a splash on the list once the DLC comes next month.

Worms 2 Armageddon grabs the number one spot from Magic: The Gathering on the Arcade chart. I would expect to see the original Worms drop off soon (but it didn't happen with Uno/Uno Rush, so who knows). The classic fighter King of Fighters makes a decent debut at number three, however with the influx of fighting games, I am not sure how long it can stay on the top ten. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles also finds its way back on the chart, possibly caused by the hype of the upcoming arcade re-release in a few weeks.

Skipping right over the Original Xbox titles (which seems to never change) is my favorite part, the Top Community Games. Number one spot goes to Kodu Game Lab, which it rightly deserves (read my review here). Unfortunately, the sadness of non-games on that list comes in the form of three different "Massage" titles. Look folks, if you are buying these apps, STOP! Please! For two dollars more, you can get an actual massager, that you can use while you play actual games on your Xbox 360.
