I count down ten of what I consider to be the most annoying women in video games. Sure, you'll probably disagree, but damn it, I felt like venting for once!

Like an abundance of women in the real world who rub us the wrong way (myself not included!), there are female characters who grind my gears excessively. Whether it’s because of their idiotic comments, abrasive personalities, or overall uselessness, I can’t stand these girls. Bear in mind you won’t see Princess Peach or Navi on this list — it’s a well-established fact that they’re some pretty obnoxious broads.

Nice list, couldn't agree more with Ashley, Talim, beggars and... the other Ashley. I would've included Athena (KoF) on my personal list, though. That girl is ANNOYING and gets younger with each new KoF game. Next thing you know, we'll be seeing Athena the Fighting Infant in Maximum Impact III, and then Athena the Fighting Fetus in KoF XIII.

And she'll still have the anime eyes.

Scientist chick from Halo Wars can kiss my ass, too.

I dunno, Talim seems..little sisterish cute. And Ashley from RE4 is hot :3 I can get passed her annoying chants.

"I didn't know the president outfitted his daughter with ballistics..."

Talim, in my opinion, was absolutely fine. I found nothing wrong with her... until I actually tried playing with her and she said 'WIND!' every two goddamn seconds as if channeling the spirit of Navi from LoZ. Then she became annoying.

This list is redundant as it doesn't include the most annoying girl in video game history... Welch from Star Ocean 4.

    Good day to you sir

EDIT: Though I do agree with the list I must admit.

I don't know about the list but I sure as hell know that the term "broad" used in regards to females grates on my nerves.

      Hideo1 Jul 13, 09
It's not used in regards to females, it's used in regards to annoying females.

Annoying females are broads, angry/drama queen females are bitches, leg-spreaded females are sluts and so on and so forth. Normal females without a defining negative quality are just Women. It goes both ways too. Nothing to get upset about.

Since when has using the term broads in regards to females meant anything other than females? I think you'll find it hasn't and your little meaning of the term is of your own construction.

No, it was sarcasm. I was basically saying internetz isn't srs bizness, just be grateful this isn't 4chan. Using the term broad is very tame in comparison to the majority of the bullshit on the internet; if you get upset about that then sites like the aforementioned 4chan would give you a heart attack.

Upset? Hardly. I was pointing out how stupid the term is. Somehow I don't think idiots using the English language incorrectly is going "make me upset", let alone give me a heart attack.

In future if you are going to use "sarcasm" use it were it's appropriate and actually makes sense. If you earlier comment was sarcastic then explain exactly how? Also shed some light on how it's even relevant to "saying internetz isn't srs bizness" and 4chan?

Wow. You are, like, the most serious in the world.

Okay, firstly it did upset you. It, and I quote, grates your nerves. Something grating one's nerves expresses annoyance. If something has annoyed you it has upset you, since it has put you in a bad mood. Simple, yes?

How it was sarcastic? Because it was blatant irony. It's not generally accepted that those euphamisms are used for those types of females but this doesn't change the fact that it doesn't matter, since if you find broad offensive and someone uses it then the only person who's going to give a shit when you're upset about it is you; therefore it's pointless to let it affect you in any way. My comment was dry, ironic sarcasm, evidentally something you're not accustom too.

The relevance of internetz not being srs bizness is because this is the internet and you're taking something you saw on it seriously; it's not rocket science. 4chan was just an example of a place which, if you're offended by broad, would melt your brain.

So, anything else? Perhaps I could explain the explanations, if they're too hard to grasp? xD

Not a single one of your little points manage to form any sort of cohesive argument. You are just plucking random things to throw together into a wall of text in the hope that nobody sees through the fact you have no argument to defend what was in no way an "ironic" or "sarcastic" comment.

And annoyed does not mean the same as upset. Check in a dictionary if you have to.

The only wall around here is in my effort to talk to you, which is like talking to a brick wall [/lame segway]

          Evidentally you were raised by bears in mountains so I'm going to put my point as simply as possible and then just ignore you, for the sake of my sanity;

It's an internet article. Don't take it so seriously. No-one, especially the guy who made the article, gives a *bleep* about you not liking the term. Get over it.

Better? In fact don't answer that, I honestly stopped caring ten words ago.

You started this because you think I'm taking the article too seriously with my original comment?

But maybe you're right. I shouldn't use the comment feature to leave comments. That would be silly.

Should Pauline even qualify? She's had so few appearances of such little presence that I'd find it hard to consider her annoying or anything like that.

But yeah, Ashley definitely for top spot. There have been a few times where I've 'accidentally' failed my mission in that game because she happened to be in the way of my rocket launcher.
