Koku Gamer shares their Top 10 list of worst endings in games from the last 5 years. Some of the big titles include Bioshock, Dead Rising and others. List mostly focuses on console titles. Spoilers ahoy.

In gaming today, stories are a huge part of the experience, and the ending means a lot after your hours of effort to reach your final goal. However, sometimes your graft is not worth the results. Koku Gamer brings you the ‘Top Ten Worst Endings in the Last 5 Years’, to celebrate (or commiserate) the most recent disappointments in gaming. Remember, this is about endings, so expect spoilers!

    Apparently Ziriux translates to grammar fail.

    Bioshock's ending did the game no justice whatsoever and turning Wesker into Alex Mercer from Prototype and fighting him in a volcano was the epitomy of *bleep*ing Rtardation, considering it's a Resi game, but the others I haven't played or just don't give a shit about. That said the crap ending from AitD could be seen from a mile away.

    When'd you make this list, 2007? PS3 exclusives are plentiful now, albeit the fact only a few have reached huge critical success.

    Most of the games...ok, all of the games on this list I haven't played, so I can't relate. However, Assassin's Creed ought to be there due to the whacked out final mission...

    I dont even have my PS3 anymore, and yet I continue to think thats bullshit. Anyone who continues that stupid dribble of the PS3 not having exclusives needs to get a *bleep*ing grip. That statement alone voids any remotely interesting points you make in the article. Not to worry; there wasn't any regardless.

    Any game that leaves itself open for a sequel has a horrible ending.

    Even though Prince of Persia was only mentioned, I strongly disagree. If you just play the game without talking to Elika, the ending seems lame, but if you talk to Elika every chance you get, you can clearly see the growing affection between her and the Prince, leading to a very emotional ending.

      The ending in PoP sucked arse though because it completely undid everything you as a player had just achieved and, the real kick in the nuts, wasn't the actual ending since you needed to pay 7ish quid to buy the damned epilogue. The relationship between them made sense to me.
