Over the year's video games have had some pretty messed up bosses. They're the sort of creeps who get stuck in your head and don't leave. Go to the source for spike.com's Top 10 Most Disturbing Video Game Bosses. Do you agree with the list? Disagree?

Video games have evolved into a much greater power from their early days of 8-bit fetushood. Some can make your skin crawl, almost to the point that it can learn how to walk. Here are the level bosses that still haunt our left and right lobes.

I kind of disagree with the list. I know it may fall in the mini-boss category, but the Iron Maiden from RE4 should have appeared in the list, at least in the 10th place. Trust me, not only are they scary looking, but their stained breathing is enough to send shivers down your spine, let alone that they've got very strong attacks.

I agree totally with Psycho Mantis. He really freaked me out when I first met him for battle. I had quite a few Konami game saves on that particular memory card such as Vandal Hearts and Suikoden and when he mentioned that it sent a shiver down my spine.

I didn't realise at the time that the game was just reading game saves from the same company. Ah, the whimsical nature of a 14 year old boy...!
