The reason for Gears being overrated is absolutely damn laughable. Gears is in no way overrated and deserves all the damn attentnion is gets.

Gears of War 1? Overrated?

What the hell. It was one of the finest coop and single player experiences I have had in a long time. And the multiplayer was fantastic. It deserves all the respect and acolades it can get.

All of the games listed should not even be on the list. Especially GTA IV and KZ2, games that have fully delivered when it comes to their promises. Especially GTA IV with it's ability to combine humour and a riveting story, and probably the best protagonist in a game so far.


What truly boggles the mind is how CoD4 did not make it to the list. Oh wait, nevermind. Another complaint about KZ2's controls, despite the fact they've been fixed a while ago ( did I say fixed? my my) and the fact the controls totally fit the pacing of the game anyway.

Halo Killer, you say? Well, I can certainly say NOBODY from Sony or GG had ever claimed that KZ1/2 were going to be halo killers. In fact, the only people I'd seen calling it that were just ignorant users looking for an argument. Same with KZ1; it was the media and the game magazines who labeled it the 'Halo Killer'

Ridiculous reasons for putting games on the list, misuse of facts and bias is what inclines me to give this article a 1/10.

Damn straight GTAIV is the number one overrated game of this gen.

Damn mother-bleeping-straight.I played GTA1 and 2 way longer than I did GTAIV.


I've heard a few people say that Gears is overrated (sadly never played it myself) but if I get a 360, Gears 1 and 2 will be the first games I buy for it.

You know what's funny? There's not a single Wii game here.

You know what's funnier? That he things Mario Galaxy wasn't ovverated.

You know what's hillarious? That he probably just picked the 5 most anticipated games of this generation and just said 'yeah, those are overrated.'

Sigh.

Gears has a good story.
Halo has a laughable story. Well actually I've never completed Halo 3's story because it's so god dam boring.

Aside from GTA IV I don't agree with the list at all. Halo 3 was overrated for a while after it came out, but these days it's got about as much hate as it has praise. How the rest of the them even got on the list I don't know.
What confuses me more so is the lack of CoD4, as good of a game as it is, it's easily the most overrated game of this entire generation.

Killzone 2 was overrated, but the reason he gave was retarded, he didn't like the controls? You can customize the controls however you want. Wtf is he smoking?

I knew this article would be a steaming pile of crap when I first laid eyes on the title.

That article was lame as hell. This guy can't get into any game. Fight Night, Halo, Killzone, Gears? Does this guy have a problem with sports/shooters? Better stick to his platforming games.

Gears 1 was great, in my experiences with it. The second however, didn't seem to follow up on the success of the first.

fight night 4 is god.
