The Top 9 Reasons why the Beatles RockBand is worth purchasing. From the remastering of the Beatles classic hits to special features and other special bonuses makes this game a must buy for GH fans.

The Beatles' song "Revolution 9", with its continuous loop of a voice saying "number nine" is the epitome of the band's experimental phase. Because of that, the number nine holds a special place in the hearts of Beatlemaniacs.

That post is full of fail. Go listen to your Lamb of God.

Edit: and to everyone who thumbs this guy up, this post is for you too.

I'm not saying they're terrible, but they are easily the most overhyped band in the history of music

And I don't like Lamb of God, I do like classic rock like The Kinks, Turtles, The Who etc, just not The Beatles

    1. Getting a new generation excited about the Beatles.... Seriously? Why must they keep acting like they are some holy grail of music and, what kid in this day and age haven't heard of The Beatles? Exposing The Beatles to younger kids/teenagers is like telling a fat kid about Mcdonalds.

The problem is, kids these days are exposed to the Beatles' "She Loves You" and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" stage, leading them to come to the conclusion that they're just british people with gay hair.

I don't think kids today respect The Beatles as much as they respect McDonalds. Ask any 13 year old.

They're not the holy grail but they made some kickass music.

I only need one reason to like this game - The Beatles.

tbh I don't like the Beatles at all. I wished that this was more of a "true" sequel to rockband rather than just a beatles oriented one. Yeah a lot of people like them but not EVERYONE.

    I'm getting RB2 instead. I like diversity.

Being someone who had a hard time watching Across the Universe (the covers just couldn't stand up to the originals), I still don't like the idea of a Beatles game. Honestly, how much more money do they need? (Conversely, Heather Mills is a b*tch, but I digress.) I'd love to see a game covering someone who hasn't had their turn in the limelight, or they won't simply because of their musical stylings ie. Neal Morse, Bumblefoot, Porcupine Tree or Liquid Tension Experiment.

It's just Rock Band... but exactly the same.

Yup, just like how every video game is Pong but with better graphics and more attacks.

          Pong 3d

Besides they could have made RB3, a fully fledged RB game and add the Beatles band, did it really need an entire game of their own?

Yes they are influential, and they did move the music industry business, but the thing that makes these type of games good is diversity, a little bit of something for everyone.

Yes. And the Beatles are diverse as hell. Listen to Te White Album. Everything from avant-grade (Revolution 9) to hard rock (Helter Skelter) and even a children's song (The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill) is on there. Don't tell me the Beatles aren't diverse. Their early pop may not be, but the later stuff is.

But I do understand how someone who doesn't like the Beatles would see it differently.

The Beatles are overrated. They're the generic pop band of today, just decades old now. People get all hyped into them as some sort of "my music is better than yours because it's old" complex and sadly I don't think a Beatles fan will ever, ever admit that they're overhyped.

Not that it matters, because people gobble this shit up. Btw, whoever tried to compare saying "It's just Rock Band...but exactly the same" to saying all games are pong but with better graphics and more attacks is, well...on crack.

I think we should ban all "Top Reasons Why..." articles; they're almost always either blogs or just opinionated trash with a purpose of doing nothing more than stirring up website traffick...then again, I could just avoid them...

I am going to say this once: Matthew, you are a *bleep*.

The Beatles are in this game. There aren't only nine reasons--there are thousands, perhaps millions. Every *bleep*ing note hit on one of the songs counts a good reason. Every time you press a button, the game is instantly awesome and it counts as another good reason because it's The BEATLES Rock Band. Every time you blink, you are losing a millisecond of playing this game. I advise you to not blink, and to never take your eyes of the screen. EVER.

Okay, I might be a little insane, but still. Get this game.
