With the rise of game remakes and re-imaginings, many gamers are calling for their favorite games to be remade for this generation. Here are gamingbolt.com's Top 9 Games That Need To Be Remade For The PlayStation 3...
Folks, we are in the seventh generation of gaming and are being amazed by the raw power of the Playstation 3. There have been many people (including us) who are amazed at the technology behind the Cell processor and the massive storage space of the blu ray disc. All of us who have bought the Playstation 3 must have bought many blockbuster games along with it. Games like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and the more recent Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. But there are some games which we have played in the last generation ( and the previous ones too) and we are forced to wonder if we will ever get them to play with next generation graphics and gameplay. We decide to list those games which should be played on the PlayStation 3.
Note: This is the best list we came up with. There are so many games out there and if your favorite games were not mentioned here you can always point them out in the comment section.

That would be sexy, I want it. I'd love to see more Syphon Filter too, there's not enough frying bad guys with a Taser in videogames, hehe.
Although I'm not sure I should be encouraging remake culture really, that didn't turn out so well in Hollywood. Now I feel vaguely sullied by how shallow I am

FFVII, how about Square actually finish the story before going onto a remake (See DoC ending)
FFVII indeed does need to be remade, and so does RE2...on the PS3.
The original Blood Omen and Soul Reaver need to be remade.
And on a personal desire, I'd like to see The Unholy War remade. The game had quite a lot of potentital.
However i think it would be fantastic to see RE2/3 on next gen consoles and also would like to see Breath of Fire remade.
