10. Resident Evil 5 - Capcom
Outstanding graphics and the addition of Co-op play to Capcom's long running Survival Horror series place Resident Evil 5 in our number 10 spot. Plagued with controversy over charging extra for multiplayer, an antiquated control system, and what some might call a racial slant to the game, Capcom still managed to craft one of the most entertaining gaming experiences of the year. Now if they could only make the Resident Evil series scary again....ah if wishes were horses.

    I have quite a few games on this list, and pretty much agree with it all together.

    RE5 could be higher though

    No Demon's Soul? Really? Or L4D2 for that matter.

    But apart from that it seems like a reasonable list.

    Who the *bleep* did this list?! I don't think Killzone 2 is a must have title to be honest. New Super Mario Bros Wii, Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2, Left for Dead 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 would be a few on my list.

    Replace with Left for Dead 2, Borderlands and Dragon Age: Origins.

      Completely agree there. But eh, I guess they went for a variety, or a balance of sorts, KZ2 being a hyped exclusive shooter for PS3, what Halo 3: ODST is to the 360, RE5 fulfilling some zombie killing needs, and UFC for those sports/fighters enthusiasts.

    Well a lot of those games you guys have mentioned only just came out recently, maybe the author doesn't own/know enough about them.

    Not to mention its all personal taste

      Those just happen to be on my 2009 wishlist as well. Last two games I'll be buying this year...hopefully I can recover in time for the huge January titles.
