Shouldn't this be a 'top list' article?

Hm 2D platformer style, I'd have to agree with Sonic. But in terms of four-player co-op like the one New SMB Wii does, I'd love to have a new Four Swords Adventure with the Links. Co-op was done awesome in that game. ^^

Must they all have 4 players?

I really want a DK Country Remake but I'm afraid that it's difficulty will just be dumbed downed incredibly for casual gamers.

There's already been 2 Donkey Knong Country remakes. I don't think we need another. An new Donkey Kong Country game would be interesting.

4 player side scroller Castlevania? SOLD! i totally agree with that and Super Star Wars.

Mega Man would be cool but who would you play as? theres Mega, Protoman, and Bass...who else really could qualify as a "good guy"? you could have Zero and Mega Man X but not at the same time as Protoman and normal Mega Man as they are from different time periods. unless they explained a time travel plot where Zero perhaps comes back in time and so it could be Mega, Proto, Bass and Zero. that could be cool...actually that would probably be the best of all. i can imagine players being able to upgrade their characters for more health, stronger shots, better jumping, more effective Robot Master weapons, etc. each of them would have an item they could upgrade. Mega and Bass would have their dogs Rush and Treble as their unique items, Proto would have his shield and Zero would have his sword.

no 4 player Sonic game please. that just wouldnt work at all.

If Megaman did get the 'treatment' it would probably be set in yet another time period, or in the alternet universe of Battle Network.

Also, it's good to see someone who's smart enought to realise that Sonic is too fast paced to have multi-player adventure... THAT MEANS YOU'RE SMARTER THAN THE DESIGNERS OF SONIC 2

I still like Sonic 2, though...
